Boomloom MINI. Our smallest size. Pocket loom with built-in heddle bar. Light, sturdy, portable. Made of aluminum, birch and maple. Easy to hold or use on a table. I find this loom works really well for kids because the gratification of making a completed piece is quick!
NOTE: This loom makes a square or small rectangle, like a pin loom or potholder loom. It does not make longer pieces. Make swatches, patches, bookmarks, coasters. Test color and yarn combos.
What you will receive:
One MINI boomloom (5" x 3" x 1.5")
One starter kit with hardwood tapestry needle, hardwood beater comb, three chunky wool yarns in blue, purple and grey, cotton warp yarn, and a cotton drawstring logo bag
Dowel for making a mini tapestry to hang
An instruction sheet to show you how
Please note: the yarn you will receive is in the image with the loom and all the supplies. Other yarn may be shown in the pics as examples. Your own yarn will work wonderfully too!
ABOUT THE BOOMLOOM:
The superpower of the boomloom is the rotating heddle bar that separates the warp threads for you. So you just pass the needle through the space, without weaving it in and out. It's like a full-sized loom in miniature. See our video for a close-up in action. Slots in the end of the loom hold the warp yarn securely, so stringing the loom is quick and easy.
Loom: 5" x 3" x 1.5".
Swatch size: 3" x 2.5".
Dents per inch: 5 nearly 6, and ends per inch is 6.
